Dear Food Consumer: The FDA Consumer article that just appeared on your web site, of course, is full of propaganda. But I'm sure you know that as you normally publish accurate information on aspartame and other additives. Aspartame is not an allergen, it is a chemical hypersensitization product and as Dr. Russell Blaylock says "the reactions to aspartame are not allergic but toxic like arsenic and cyanide". In reality is an addictive, excitoneurotoxic carcinogenic drug that interacts with all drugs, vaccines and toxins. This is documented in many of the books by the experts like Dr. Blaylock and Dr. Roberts.

Next weekend is Aspartame Awareness Weekend and we will be sending the Report to Schools mentioned in the article for submission below, to all schools, pediatricians and OB-GYN, to save the children. Above the article for submission is how Splenda is made. James Turner, Atty and Citizens for Health have already asked for its recall. You can use it too if you like.

* Sucrose is tritylated with tritylchloride; This is performed in the presence of dimethylformamide and 4 - methylmorpholine.

Aspartame Disease is now a global plague declared by H. J. Roberts, M.D., who wrote the 1038 page medical text - Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic, Neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock, M.D., wrote about aspartame and MSG, Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills,

Today people are actually dropping dead from this addictive excitoneurotoxic carcinogenic drug

Aspartame is a molecule composed of three ingredients, aspartic acid, 40% (an excitotoxin as an isolate, product that stimulates the neurons of the brain to death causing brain damage), a methyl ester that immediately converts to methyl alcohol, (10%) then breaks down to formaldehyde and formic acid (ant sting poison), and 50% phenylalanine, as an isolate a neurotoxin that lowers the seizure threshold and depletes serotonin triggering psychiatric and behavioral problems. The molecule breaks down to a witches brew of toxins including diketopiperazine, a brain tumor agent, that triggered brain tumors in original studies. The FDA lists 92 documented symptoms from aspartame from 4 types of seizures and coma, to male sexual dysfunction and death.

In July 2005, the most impeccable study ever done on aspartame (Ramazzini) confirmed what the FDA knew a quarter of a century ago, that aspartame is a multipotential carcinogen triggering leukemia, lymphoma, kidney cancer and cancer of the peripheral nerves, especially cranial. Only the rats fed aspartame developed malignant brain tumors. Originally the FDA revoked the petition for approval because it could not be proven to be safe and triggered brain tumors: It also triggered mammary, uterine, ovarian, testicular, thyroid and pancreatic tumors. Aspartame would not be on the market today were it not for Don Rumsfeld as explained in the Aspartame documentary, Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World, and Barnes & Noble.

Unfortunately, once aspartame was approved no drug on the market could be considered safe because aspartame interacts with all drugs and vaccines: With thousands perishing from unsafe drugs and drug interactions liability was lifted from the Pharmaceutical industry allowing them to kill without the right of survivors to sue. The Pharma industry has purchased the agency that was meant to regulate it. FDA is now Big Pharma's Washington Branch Office.

As a whistle blower in the DVD, Prescription for Disaster, stated: "You're now on your own. There is no longer any safety."

For over a quarter of a century people have asked what is NutraSweet made from. There have been three congressional hearings over the outrage of people being poisoned and doctors and scientists spoke out against their false advertising of aspartame being natural like bananas.

Many years ago Barbara Mullarkey, an anti-aspartame journalist from Oak Park, Illinois wrote a fact sheet on aspartame. She said:

"Noting that the raw material source and process is NutraSweet Company's proprietary (secret) information, the following statements appear contradictory. In 1983, Denise Ertell, Searle's public affairs director said: "Phenylalanine is a fermentation by-product of soybeans and corn, and aspartic acid is a total synthesis from hydrocarbons, petro-chemical derivatives." Yet, in 1984, Kay Fairbanks, R.D., and Marguerite Copel, R.D., nutrition counselors for Burson Marsteller, Searle's public relations firm wrote. "Neither one (phenylalanine or aspartic acid) is a petro-chemical derivative." In 1985, Gerry Gaull, M.D., Searle's vice president of nutrition and medical affairs, said, that phenylalanine might not come from soybeans and corn."

When an aspartame victim called from the NutraSweet manufacturing company in Augusta, Ga, I said, "Since you make the stuff, what is it made from?" His reply, "I don't know lady, all we have here is toxic sludge."

Is Aspartame genetically engineered? It was admitted that it is made with GM Bacteria. This article appeared in the Independent in 1999, on the front page, above the Royal Wedding.

A few weeks ago in speaking to someone who has made amino acids for 45 years I was told today most amino acids are genetically engineered. So I asked, "But what are they made of?" He replied, "natural bacteria, mostly mutated".

In a discussion with Dr. Bill Deagle he informed me he had seen the vats of bacteria that the amino acids in aspartame are made from. He said "its toxic sludge". One can only wonder if Stauber who wrote the excellent books, "Toxic Sludge Is Good For You" and "Trust Us, We're Experts" exposing the propaganda used to market unsafe products, also knows.

Researching the issue further, I spoke to Dr. David Benson at the University of Connecticut, Molecular & Cell Biology. Professor Benson wrote a paper to provide students with background information on how amino acids are made by fermentation. His paper does mention some of the controversies surrounding the consumption of amino acids but takes neither a pro nor con stance on the genetic engineering of producing organisms or safety of amino acids. He did tell me also that today most all amino acids are genetically engineered.

I definitely would not call amino acids made in this fashion natural, unless you believe what you find in your toilet is worth consuming.

Aspartame Awareness Weekend is August 8th, 9th and 10th worldwide. We hope you will do your part to help with our project this year of saving the children. Dr. John Olney, one of the most renowned neuroscientists on the planet founded the field of neuroscience called excitotoxicity when he did the studies on aspartic acid and found it caused lesions in the brains of mice. He knew if aspartame was approved it would destroy the brains of the unborn and our children. Here is his report to the Board of Inquiry: The Board of Inquiry of the FDA agreed with Dr. Olney and revoked the petition for approval. Dr. Olney even insisted on Searle doing studies in his lab which also showed the damage to the brain, but Searle never gave these studies to the FDA. However, they never intended for aspartame to reach the market but Don Rumsfeld who was CEO of Searle said he would call in his markers and get it approved anyway as discussed in the aspartame documentary, Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World.

An affidavit from a translator revealed Searle even sacrificed people in poor villages in six countries to test aspartame on humans. These 18 month studies again showed aspartame not only destroyed the brain but also triggered seizures and brain tumors. Likewise, a study in Norway a few years ago showed aspartame destroys the brain, especially in the area of learning.

And so Dr. Olney's prophecy has been fulfilled unfortunately with epidemics of birth defects, autism, ADD, ADHD, Tourettes, etc. Behavioral and psychiatric problems are rampant and our children are medicated instead of educated. With aspartame interacting with drugs it only adds to the problem. Professor of Pediatrics, Genetics, then at Emory University, Louis Elsas, M.D, sad in congressional testimony on 11/8/87: "I have spent 25 years in biomedical sciences trying to prevent birth defects caused by excess phenylalanine. Therein lies my basic concern, that aspartame is in fact a well known neurotoxin and teratogen (causes birth defects) which will ...irreversibly in the developing child or fetal brain produce adverse effects."

We MUST get aspartame out of the schools. Even where pop machines have been removed from grammar schools or middle schools diet drinks are being sold in high schools to addict and maim the students. The free methyl alcohol causes chronic methanol poisoning, and this affects the dopamine system of the brain causing the addiction. It reduces IQ as well. Aspartame is in an estimated 6000 products including pediatric prescription drugs and pediatric vitamins. After demanding Wrigley's remove it from gum for years because it goes straight to the brain, they have now put it in most all gums, and it may be blended with acesulfame potassium which caused cancer and leukemia in original studies, and sucralose/Splenda which is a chlorocarbon poison. To make matters worse there are front groups like the Calorie Control Council who push aspartame on pregnant women: Recently, the American Dietetics Assn put out a notice saying it was safe for pregnant women, and we've been exposing them for years for taking money from the manufacturer and pushing this toxin with full knowledge of its toxicity. They are the media flacks of the manufacturers.

What you can do?

There is an excellent lecture on Nutrition and Behavior by neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock, M.D., on DVD. You can get a copy from: Every school should have a copy so they can be educated to remove harmful products from schools.

Experts on aspartame have produced articles to go to every school in the world for Mission Possible International's SAVE THE CHILDREN project this Aspartame Awareness Weekend. It should go to every pediatrician and every OB-GYN. Remember for every physician who knows he can save thousands of patients. He will know not to prescribe drugs that have aspartame and inform parents about over-the-counter pediatric products that have these dangerous toxins.

Here are the reports which you can also forward by email to every Board of Education, PTA, nursery school and children's hospital, school, pediatrician and OB-GYN, the world over.

And for everyone reading this paper please sign the petition to free Diane Fleming: You will see Diane in Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World. Her athlete husband, Charles Fleming, was an aspartame addict and lost his life. His autopsy showed the chronic methanol poisoning and other effects of this poison such as cardiomegaly, (enlarged heart), fatty liver, etc. His wife not knowing that aspartame liberates free methyl alcohol called the police at the physician's request. She also took a lie detector test, passed, and helped the police. Yet they indicted her and sentenced her to 30 and 20 years for poisoning her husband and she has remained in a Virginia prison for four years. Experts have signed affidavits that her husband died from aspartame.

Her attorney David Hargett has appealed to the Supreme Court after a powerful habeas was turned down. This article can also be used as a flyer for Aspartame Awareness Weekend, and the Idaho Observer has 24 page booklets on aspartame for distribution, the Artificially Sweetened Times, Many events can be started such as lectures, seminars, walks, interviews by victims, letters to the Editor, etc. The Aspartame documentary, Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World can be shown to school groups and to consumers at large. Jennifer Mattox of Faerie Films is producing the documentary, Vending Machine, to aid in getting junk food out of schools.

There are safe sweeteners available. An analysis on Just Like Sugar (now sold in Whole Foods and Wild Oats) has shown it is free of excitotoxins. It is chicory, orange peel, Vitamin C and Calcium. Stevia can be gotten from any health food store which helps in the metabolism of sugar, and is a sweet herb.

Don't let Aspartame Awareness Weekend go by without saving a child! It is absolutely illegal. As admitted by the National Soft Drink Assn (now American Beverage) it violates adulteration statutes: Since its against the law to ship an adulterated product for sale it also violates interstate commerce laws. The Delaney Amendment states if a product causes cancer in animals it cannot be put in foods so it also against the law from this standpoint as FDA toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross told Congress. The FDA must recall it:

Tired of waiting while consumers continued to be poisoned he wrote all those residing in the Falklands. Aspartame products have remained on the shelves for months unsold. China has restricted aspartame use as has India in their ban of pop in certain areas. Start a ban in your state now.
