The response to our Campaign for Healthier Eating in America has made this an exhilarating year for everyone at the Institute. Presently,
our
small staff is totally overwhelmed with requests for information from
magazines, retail stores, doctors, nonprofits and consumers – and we
find ourselves without the funds to add any staff hours to answer these
important requests.
By contributing, "just-a-little" before 2009,
your contribution can help turn GM ingredients into a liability for food companies!
We need to hire staff to handle requests
Everyone we ask is saying Yes! Please! send us Non-GMO information
What are they doing?
ü
Yes - we'll send a link to the millions on our list
ü
Yes - we want a visit for our conference
ü
Yes - we will give your patient education materials to our doctors
ü
Yes - we want a non-GMO school meal program
ü
Yes - we'll distribute your Shopping Guides at our festivals
Please contribute "just-a-little" now,
so that we can hire staff to make these important mind-changing
connections. Help make the change to Non-GMO you want to see!
Years of preparation means we have these tools in hand:
ü
The
Non-GMO Shopping Guide helps shoppers to avoid GMO brands.
ü
And I just started a new
blog in the Green and Style sections of the Huffington Post.
With 270 million Americans wanting GMO labeling and
most
saying they would avoid GMOs if given a choice, our message is
mainstream. (We even have President Obama supporting our desire for
mandatory Non-GMO labeling.) The time to come together is now. Please
support our efforts for your food supply if you can...
Happy New Year! Enjoy healthier non-GMO food.
