WEDNESDAY AUGUST 13, 2008 (foodconsumer.org) -- A male employee was taking a bath for his birthday in a utility sink in one of Burger King Corp restaurants somewhere in Ohio and took a video and published it on his MySpace blog, the Associated Press reported.

The 4-minute video was posted online Thursday showing that the man took the bath to celebrate his birthday.   In the video, the apparently naked man identified himself as "Mr. Unstable".   The video was removed before Tuesday night.

Timothy Tackett, 25, claimed to WDTN-TV in Dayton that he is the man in the sink and he had his bathing videotaped by another employee.   He said he regretted taking the unusual bath because it resulted in firing of the employee who taped the video and the restaurant's shift manager.

Burger King spokeswoman Denise Wilson was cited by the AP as saying earlier Tuesday that two employees involved in the incident had been fired and a third had quit. She did not identify the employees or say whether the man who celebrated his birthday in the sink quit or was fired. But the bath-taker said he was fired.

"My first thought was oh my God," Mark McDonnell, the Greene County health commissioner, was quoted by USA Today as telling WDTN-TV. He dispatched inspectors to look for violations at the restaurant, but workers had already cleaned the sink.
